EEAC’s Census 2000 Occupation Analyzer service is a web-based metrics tool for retrieving, analyzing, and graphing the most widely used occupation statistics contained within the Census 2000 Special EEO File. The service provides convenient access to the 2000 Special EEO File's comprehensive race, ethnicity, and gender information for 471 detailed Census occupations by residence at the national, state, metropolitan statistical area (MSA), and county levels. In addition to retrieving and charting the actual headcount and percentage figures for these occupations, EEAC's Census 2000 Occupation Analyzer service also permits users to graphically compare their company's own workforce statistics against the occupation benchmark selected, allowing for an immediate assessment of whether their own racial, ethnic, or gender diversity in any given occupation leads, lags, or is on par with the benchmark.
