Impact of OFCCP’s Internet Applicant Rule on Use of “Ranking” Mechanisms To Evaluate Job Seekers
“Ranking mechanisms” are a tool that some employers use to assist recruiters in identifying job seekers who would be the best fit for a job. Unlike “pre-screening” mechanisms, however, the use of ranking mechanisms generally will not reduce the recordkeeping burden imposed by OFCCP’s Internet Applicant rule.
