House Democrats Urge OFCCP To Revise Affirmative Action Goal for Women in Construction, Calling Existing Goal “Outdated and Woefully Inadequate”
Twenty-six Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives have written to Labor Secretary Hilda Solis stating that it is time for the OFCCP to revise the affirmative action goal for women in construction, which was set by the agency in 1978.
