Summary of Membership Benefits and Services

The Equal Employment Advisory Council (EEAC), established in 1976, is the only national employer association dedicated exclusively to the advancement of practical and effective EEO and affirmative action compliance programs to eliminate workplace discrimination. EEAC offers a broad array of information, benefits, and services to its 300 member companies, which include the country's largest and most progressive corporations.

Ongoing Compliance Guidance

EEAC provides an ongoing array of member services designed to enhance EEO/AA compliance efforts. These include:

  • Weekly memoranda that analyze and provide practical guidance on important legal, regulatory, legislative, and public policy developments that impact company EEO, AA, and diversity policies and programs.

  • MemberAssist Service, a call-in clearinghouse service that puts member company representatives in immediate contact with EEAC's subject-matter experts.

  • Members-only access to our best practices resource library, Open Dialogues, government regulations and forms, census information, and other helpful compliance-related products and services.

Meetings and Forums

EEAC holds two membership meetings during the year, in addition to a series of periodic specialized forums geared to meet the needs of in-house employment lawyers, senior EEO/AA/diversity managers, and EDR specialists.

Training and Special Seminars

EEAC offers a comprehensive curriculum of EEO/AA skills development courses ranging from a basic EEO course to advanced courses on compensation analysis and developing compliant affirmative action programs. Our periodic special seminars and web-workshops provide practical guidance on new compliance developments as they occur.

Advocacy

EEAC serves an important advocacy role for its members through:

  • Detailed comment letters submitted to present a practical employer perspective on proposed agency regulations and policy changes.

  • Amicus curiae briefs filed in major court cases.
