EEAC Privacy Statement

EEAC has always respected the privacy of our members and visitors. We have adopted the following policy concerning our information gathering and dissemination practices for our website.

Collection and Use
EEAC collects and uses data only to better serve its members. In general, the only personal information we collect and store is provided voluntarily by our members and visitors. If our privacy policy changes, we will place a special announcement on the Web site.

EEAC does not collect any personal information from visitors browsing the public area of its Web site. We collect only aggregate data, such as the number of hits per page. This data is used only for internal and marketing purposes and does not provide any personally identifiable information.

From EEAC member company representatives accessing the limited access "members only" and "Memos Online" areas of the website, we ask only for the EEAC-assigned username and password. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site.

Order forms on our website are for member representatives and visitors to request information, products, and services, and to register for meetings and training programs. We collect contact information (like their e-mail addresses) to respond to inquiries, to process and ship orders, to bill for registrations, orders and services, and to make follow-up contacts if necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings. See the choice/opt-out section below.

From time to time, we may post online surveys designed to obtain data concerning substantive issues of interest to EEAC members, or to improve the quality of EEAC benefits and services. We may ask for contact information (such as e-mail addresses), which may be used to make follow-up contacts if necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings. See the choice/opt-out section below.

Disclosure
As a general rule, EEAC does not disclose any personally identifiable information to third parties. The sole exception is that attendees to EEAC meetings, forums and training programs receive an attendee list. EEAC does not disclose financial data such as credit card account information provided by its member representatives and customers, other than to submit the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate payment processing service.

Choice/Opt-Out
Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us. To do so, send an e-mail to info@eeac.org or call (202) 629-5655.
