Germany’s Sweeping New Pay Transparency Law Gives Employees Right To Request Peers’ Average Compensation Data Beginning on January 6, 2018

Germany’s Equal Pay law, enacted this summer, parallels our own Equal Pay Act, with some significant exceptions. Among them is a provision that gives employees the right to ask for the average compensation of similarly situated employees.
