NLRB “Advice” Memo Concludes NLRB Complaint by Author of Controversial “Google Memo” Did Not Constitute “Protected” Conduct Under Federal Labor Law

According to an “advice” memo, Google did not violate federal labor law when it fired the author of a controversial internal memo that went viral last year criticizing the company’s diversity initiatives while containing offensive stereotypes about the ability of women to succeed in high tech jobs.
