Conducting Impact Ratio Analyses for Potential Emp. Discrim.
EEAC is pleased to announce that a revised and updated edition of our resource manual, "Conducting Impact Ratio Analyses for Potential Employment Discrimination," is now available for purchase. As in previous versions of the manual, changes have been made in response to current OFCCP compliance evaluation practices, including the agencyís more frequent reliance on IRAs in conducting audits and its occasional departure from the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures in its conducting of minority subgroup analyses.
EEACís newly-revised IRA manual, consistent with the earlier editions, provides a thorough background on the legal and statistical principles behind analyses for adverse impact, plus extensive practical discussions of the use of IRAs in evaluating hiring, promotion and termination selection patterns. In addition, the revised manual discusses non-traditional uses of IRAs to examine performance evaluations and potential adverse impact on the basis of age.
This stand-alone spiral-bound resource manual is designed for HR professionals, managers and attorneys involved in developing strategies and conducting IRAs for hires, promotions, terminations, downsizings, and other employment selections.
Please note also that the IRA Manual is a natural companion resource to EEACís IRA Workbook II, a compliance tool we designed to assist member companies in conducting IRAs consistent with OFCCPís current methodologies.
The IRA Manual is only available electronically through a download via a corporate license.
