Third Circuit in DOL v. American Future Systems Rules That FLSA Requires Employers To Pay for Short Rest Breaks

Although the Fair Labor Standards Act does not require employers to provide employees with rest breaks, for employers that do, they need to make sure that if the break is for 20 minutes or less, they pay for the time. Thatís the message from a recent case out of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
